Fingerprint Submission
For applicants aged 14 to 70, a China visa application will not be complete until fingerprints are submitted at a China Visa Application Service Centre. Once we have received all required materials for your visa application, we will contact you to schedule a fingerprint appointment at a China Visa Application Service Centre where is nearly. Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Passport
Applicants must submit their actual passport, which must:

Have at least two blank visa pages.

Be valid for six months beyond the entry date.

Be issued as a full validity passport.

Be undamaged.
Visa Application and Photograph
Complete the enclosed China Application Form and send it along with your other documents to the CIBTvisas office address listed on the submission checklist page of this application pack. We will provide you with the official China application form for your signature before your consular fingerprinting appointment. Upload your photograph at CIBTvisas Photo Service. Multiple Entry Applicants
The issuance of a visa valid for more than one entry is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of the visa officer. The Embassy's decision is final and cannot be contested by CVISA.
Current or Previous Visa Holders
Travellers renewing or requesting another Chinese visa must provide additional documentation if a Chinese visa has been previously issued. Any valid Chinese visa must be cancelled before applying for a new one. Travellers must:

Submit the original passport containing the most recent Chinese visa (valid or expired) and a copy of the passport's information pages and the Chinese visa.

Provide a personal statement requesting the cancellation of the current valid visa. A copy is acceptable. Click here to access a sample personal statement.

Supply a clear copy of the marriage/deed poll certificate if the old passport was issued in a different name, and a clear copy of their spouse's passport if applicable.
Dual Nationals
Applicants with dual nationality must:

Apply using their UK passport if they hold one, or their EU passport if they hold one, or the passport containing the UK visa/permit if they do not hold a UK or EU passport.

Provide both original passports, a copy of the identification pages of each passport, and a copy of the identity card, if applicable. If both original passports cannot be provided, an original statement explaining why must be submitted.

Be a UK resident, remain in the country while the application is processed, and apply for standard processing, as express processing is not available for dual nationals.
Applicants of Chinese Origin
Travellers born in Mainland China, Taiwan,Hong Kong, or Macao must provide additional documentation to apply for their Chinese visa. Contact CVISA for further information.
